前置詞：前置詞+名詞(代名詞)で用いられます｡
◎｢~で、~に｣ in+広い地域(国･州･都市など) , at+建物や狭い場所(駅･図書館･家など)
→in Japan, in the city, at the station, at the library, at home
◎「~の(真)上に｣over, ｢~の上(方)に, 斜め上に｣ above,
→the sun above the horizon (地平線上に昇った太陽)
the bridge over the river (川の上にかかった橋)
◎｢~の(真)下で(に)｣ under, 「~の下(方)に, 斜め下に｣below
◎「~に接触して」on
→on the desk (机の上に) , on the wall (壁面に), on the ceiling (天井に)
◎「~の中に」in, 「~の中に(動きを伴って)」into, 「~の外に(へ)」out of
◎「~を横切って」across, 「~を通りぬけて｣through
→across the street (通りを横切って), through the window (窓をつき抜けて)
◎｢2つ(2者)の間｣between, 「3つ(3者)以上の間」among
→between A and B (AとBの間), among the crowd (群衆の間)
◎｢~へ｣to , for …動詞で使い分ける。※leave for~, start for~を覚えておく。
→go to the station (駅へ行く), leave for Tokyo (東京へ向けて出発する)
◎「~に沿って」along
→along the river (川沿いに)
◎in「月･季節･年」, on「曜日･日付」, at「時刻」
→in 2017, in August, on August 10, on Friday, at noon, at seven
※in > on > at の順で時間の単位が減少します。(例外）in the morning [evening](午前[午後]に)
◎｢~の間｣for+> 不特定の期間, during+特定の期間
→for two days(2日間), during the summer(夏の間), during my stay(私の滞在期間)
◎from A「Aから」, since 「~以来(今まで)」〈現在完了と共に〉
→from morning till midnight (朝から真夜中まで), since 2010 (2010年から今まで)
◎till〔until〕｢~までずっと｣, by｢~までに｣
→I’ll finish the work by noon. (私はその仕事を昼までに終わらせるだろう。)
→I was waiting for him till twelve. (私は彼を12時まで待っていた。)
◎in「~後に, ~たったら」within「~以内に」
→He will come back in ten minutes. (彼は10分後に戻るでしょう。)
→You should finish the work within ten minutes. (10分以内にその仕事を終わらせよ。)
◎before「~前に」, after「~後に」
→before noon (昼前に), after lunch (昼食後に)
◎with「~といっしょに,~を使って」, without「~なしに」
→with a pen「ペンを使って」without saying good-bye 「さよならを言わずに」
◎of「~(材料)から」, from「~(原料)から」
→This desk is made of wood. (この机は木からできている。)
◎by「~(交通手段)を使って」
→by train (電車で), by bike (自転車で) ※on foot(徒歩で)
◎in「~(言語)で」
→He wrote a letter in English. (彼は英語で手紙を書いた。)
◎of「~の」
→a friend of mine (私の友人)
◎for「~のために、~にとって」
→It’s easy for me. (それは私にとって易しいことだ。)
◎against「~に反して、対して」
→against the wind「風に反して」
◎about「~について」
→a book about world heritage sites (世界遺産についての本)
◎like「~のような」
→I want a book like this. (私はこのような本が欲しい。)
because of ~「の理由で｣, in front of ｢~の前に｣, such as「~のような」, out of ｢~から(外へ) , at once「すぐに」, at last「ついに」, of course「もちろん」, by the way ｢ところで｣, for the first time ｢初めて｣, in time「間に合って」, on time 「時間通りに」, on foot「歩いて」, by~self「ひとりで」, on one’s way「~の途中で」
